Avoid sudden exertion e.g. climbing stairs in haste, moving furniture in house etc.Graded exercise in the form of walking is advised with the limits of tolerance.Fat free diet. Use sunflower oil.Nitrates: Tab. ISORDIL 10mg 1 Qid (Dinitrate) or Tab. ISMO-20 1 bd (Mononitrate)Sublingual SORBITRATE: S.O.S. If pain. Keep sublingual tablets always at hand in the pocket and in every room. Tab. Dilcal 30mg. 1 tds (Dilitiazen ) a calcium channel blocker, esp for non-q wave infarcts)Cap.Ovista 1 OD (Anti oxidants) Anti Thrombotic drugs: Tab. ASA&actContent=CARE AFTER HEART ATTACK&redTo=disease&drg_tid=10906'>ASA 50mg 1 OD (Low dose Aspirin) orTab. TICLOVAS 250mg 1 bd (TIclopidine)Tab. PERSANTIN 75mg. 1 OD (Dipyridamole)Tab. UNIWARFIN: as anticoagulant, only if advised by a cardiologist, under strict control of prothrombin time. Strict control of Hypertension, Diabetes and Hyperlipidemia if present.
